Royal Air Force Museum: ‘RAF: First to the Future’
Royal Air Force Museum
The Royal Air Force (RAF) exists for 100 years. To celebrate this, the RAF Museum in Hendon (London) has been completely renewed. Kossmann.dejong exhibition architects together with a specialist team from the museum designed the new permanent exhibition ‘RAF: First to the Future’. The exhibition opened on 30 June 2018.
“We are thrilled and honoured to have designed the exhibition ‘RAF: First to the Future’ and collaborate with such a renowned institute as the RAF”, says Mark de Jong, founder and creative director of Kossmann.dejong. “As the future is subject of debate, our aim was to activate the visitor to join this discussion and to develop a vision of the future. We have turned the exhibition space into a laboratory-like environment and challenge visitors to take on the role of researcher.”
